Wake County’s Comprehensive Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan will chart a 10-year roadmap for investing in parks, recreation, open space, greenways and educational programming across the county. The plan evaluates current facilities and services and identifies key opportunities to meet future needs.
Over the past year, thousands of residents and stakeholders have shared their ideas to help shape the future of parks, recreation and open space in Wake County. Feedback gathered through surveys, meetings and outreach events helped shape the draft plan’s vision, goals and priorities.
